What do you think makes you unique as a team member?
My drive to learn, I enjoy learning new things that help me improve and be more efficient in my position, whether it be how a specific setup on a rig works and operates down to how a specific part can halt an entire operation.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what are some of the challenges you face?
I enjoy how each day is different, you really don’t know what you’re going to face day to day, and some days changes on the fly as new projects arise. The challenging part is keeping up with what we currently have going on, what we have coming up, and changes made constantly to current jobs and keeping things on schedule and adapting to those changes.
How do you balance your work responsibilities with your personal life, and what strategies do you use to maintain that balance?
I try to keep work and home life separate, at times there are occasions where you’re emailing or taking calls at home, but I keep this to a minimum. When I’m at work my focus is there when I’m at home my focus is at home, I try not to mix the two if it’s not necessary.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy pretty much anything outside, fishing is my go-to hobby. Specifically, I enjoy coastal fishing and camping in the outer banks area if I could fish every day I would.
What is something that you are proud of about yourself?
Being a father, being a dad has taught me a lot of the years. Knowing you have kids the rely on you and look up to you makes you take a different approach on a lot of things.
If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why?
I’ve always wanted to go to Alaska, the general view and landscape you can see. They have so many different things to experience and see from the mountains to fishing you can’t do on the east coast; I always thought it would be neat to go experience as many as possible.
