What is your favorite part about working at IDE?
That IDE is a small but growing family-owned company. I don’t feel like just another number like I have at large corporations prior in my career. They are about their employees, and it shows.
What do you think makes you unique as a team member?
14+ years of sales experience in the NYC Metro area
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what are some of the challenges you face?
Seeing all the different kinds of job sites that are various infrastructure projects, and you see the importance of the equipment we sell. Being in NYC, the biggest challenge I face is the traffic.
Can you share a project or accomplishment you’re particularly proud of that you worked on during your time here?

How does IDE support your professional development, and what opportunities have you taken advantage of?
Annual Training opportunities, direct access to manufacturers for support as well as visits in the field.
How do you collaborate with your colleagues and team members, and what qualities do you think are essential for effective teamwork?
Communication is key in any successful collaboration. Being in a different state then all of my coworkers can present it’s own challenges, however I am in constant communication with various colleagues daily in various different levels of support.
The qualities that are essential for effective teamwork are to be a good listener, be clear and concise with communication and not be hesitant to ask questions when needed.
How do you balance your work responsibilities with your personal life, and what strategies do you use to maintain that balance?
I do not travel overnight often so it is easy to keep my work and personal life separate. I prioritize my tasks and when they need to be completed.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending time with Family friends and dog, golf, traveling (30/50 states and 3/7 continents visited so far), and recently watching too many cooking competition shows.
What is something that you are proud of about yourself?
Purchasing my first home on my own in 2019
If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why?
The peak of Mt. Everest, I have summited a few different mountains, but I can only imagine how amazing it would be to stand at the highest point in the world.
