What is your favorite part about working at IDE?

I like having a broad range of jobs throughout the day.

What do you think makes you unique as a team member?

I have the ability to be versatile and tackle any job I’m given

What do you enjoy most about your job, and what are some of the challenges you face?

The growth and knowledge my position has given me over the years. One of the challenges I face is taking on welding projects that no one has ever done in this facility with zero guidance.

Can you share a project or accomplishment you’re particularly proud of that you worked on during your time here?

Building the first rapid FDP tool at IDE. Also learning how to improve it after the initial design.

How do you stay motivated and engaged in your work, and what advice would you give to others who are struggling with motivation?

I stay motivated by my own success within myself. Being good at what I do is motivation enough to produce a solid product even if it’s not for my customers

How does IDE support your professional development?

Having the freedom to travel the country. Getting to see new places has always been a personal goal of mine. As well as motivation from Stephen to achieve my personal dreams.

How do you balance your work responsibilities with your personal life, and what strategies do you use to maintain that balance?

My work responsibilities support my personal life to an extent. Knowing that, I put a reasonable amount of effort into both work and personal with getting burnt out.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy riding motorcycles, going hiking with my dog, and working on diesel trucks.
