What is your favorite part about working at IDE?
What do you think makes you unique as a team member?
With over a decade of experience in this industry, I have acquired invaluable knowledge and expertise. This journey has enabled me to develop a great understanding of the intricate details of the equipment that we offer.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what are some of the challenges you face?
I appreciate the frequent travel opportunities and the chance to assist our customers in person. However, this also presents a challenge, as it requires effective time management while on the go.
How do you stay motivated and engaged in your work, and what advice would you give to others who are struggling with motivation?
Begin your day with a clear purpose. Establish daily goals, regardless of their size, to fuel that sense of purpose.
How does IDE support your professional development, and what opportunities have you taken advantage of?
IDE is dedicated to the continuous growth and development of its employees by providing a variety of opportunities and tools. Regular visits from our manufacturers keep us informed about the latest products. Additionally, online training programs enhance our skill sets, while in-person sales meetings foster valuable interactions within the IDE team.
How do you collaborate with your colleagues and team members, and what qualities do you think are essential for effective teamwork?
I collaborate through clear and intentional communication, utilizing my tenacity to ensure project completion. I value teamwork built on trust, aligned goals, and complementary skills.
How do you balance your work responsibilities with your personal life, and what strategies do you use to maintain that balance?
This is a challenging aspect of my role, as it involves frequent travel. First and foremost, it’s important to know when to switch off from work. I make a conscious effort to do this by setting aside dedicated family time—whether in person or via FaceTime. Secondly, success in my role hinges on effective time management and thoughtful prioritization.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy working out, running, rucking, and taking my family on a variety of outings.
What is something that you are proud of about yourself?
Having the most wonderful person in the world as my wife, along with my incredibly intelligent and beautiful daughter.
