What is your favorite part about working at IDE?
I get the opportunity to expand my knowledge, particularly in understanding how piling rigs and micropile rigs operate and their practical applications. This role allows me to continuously grow and develop alongside the company.
What do you think makes you unique as a team member?
I bring a combination of adaptability and attention to detail.
How do you stay motivated and engaged in your work, and what advice would you give to others who are struggling with motivation?
I stay motivated by setting clear goals and regularly reflecting on the purpose behind my work. I also make time to celebrate small wins and seek feedback to keep growing. For those struggling with motivation, I’d recommend reconnecting with the “why” behind your role, breaking task down into manageable steps, and reaching out to peers for support. Sometimes, a fresh perspective or a quick conversation can reignite your drive.
How do you collaborate with your colleagues and team members, and what qualities do you think are essential for effective teamwork?
I prioritize open communication, active listening, and mutual respect in all my collaborations. I make it a point to understand each team member’s strengths and working styles so we can align effectively. Essential qualities for teamwork include trust, accountability, adaptability, and a shared commitment to the team’s goals. I also believe in giving credit where it’s due and creating space for everyone’s voice to be heard.
How do you balance your work responsibilities with your personal life, and what strategies do you use to maintain that balance?
I maintain balance by setting clear boundaries, planning my day with intention, and making time for activities that recharge me, like spending time with family or engaging in hobbies.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, reading, taking my dogs for walks or playing with them in the yard.
