Sales Manager - REMOTE - Territory: DC, DE, IN, KY, MD, MI, OH, VA, WV

Reports To: Sales Manager

Subordinates: None

Requirements:

  • Manage and nurture existing customer relations with constant contact/communication
  • Visit each client a minimum of 4 times yearly
  • Manage & qualify prospects, handling minor grievances, and helping collect payments
  • Travel with other IDE personnel for support
  • Monitor and be cost conscious of traveling expenses for the region
  • Turn in receipts to accounting in a timely manner
  • Offer and represent all product lines carried by IDE in assigned region
  • Consistently introduce new product lines, innovations, parts, fabrication, and service options
  • Making cold calls, and following up on potential leads
  • Generate new sales and revenue streams by researching untapped market sectors
  • Responsible for learning and increasing product knowledge thru study and job site visits
  • Participate in Trade Shows and Conferences
  • Attend IDE classroom educational opportunities
  • Participate in yearly Sales Development seminar

Field Service Technician - 100% REMOTE

Reports To: Service Manager

Subordinates: None

Requirements:

  • A strong working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions
  • Able to perform repairs for all major equipment systems
  • Recondition and repair equipment and components
  • Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs assigned
  • Order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs
  • Ensure that all repairs are completed as assigned
  • Ensure the cosmetic appearance upon completion as required
  • Ensure all parts and materials not used are returned per guidelines
  • Perform the repairs required in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition
  • Bring to the attention of the Manager/Foreman any/all extra issues identified
  • Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases
  • All record keeping methods are followed per instructions
  • All cost-related items are included in the job work order
  • Ensure all records kept are legible and in compliance with established methods
  • Maintain and care for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • All specialty tools used on the job are obtained using the methods established
  • All tools and special equipment used on repairs are cleaned before returning them
  • All specialty tools used on jobs are returned to the original location in working condition

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel 100% of the time
  • Ability to respond to Service Manager calls within 30 minutes
  • Ability to travel within 12 hours of initial Service Manager call (pending flight/travel availability)

Parts, Service, and Sales Representative (PSSR)

Reports To: Product Support Manager

Subordinates: None

Requirements:

  • A strong knowledge of the heavy equipment industry
  • Solid understanding of the parts, services, and equipment offered by IDE
  • Research parts, service, sales history for customers to identify needs
  • Manage customer needs, pinpoint viable options, ensure delivery & satisfaction
  • Communicate thoroughly/efficiently with all levels of personnel to ensure follow through
  • Ensure communication relays proper urgency
  • Maintain “Customer Ranking” list
  • Consistently update CRM (HubSpot) with all interactions & follow up on pushed tasks
  • Assist in quotes, invoices, and communications necessary to inform/close a deal
  • Follow up on “Customer Satisfaction” surveys
  • Contact an average of 4 customers daily with meaningful interactions
  • Pinpoint short/long-term objectives and paths to achieve those goals
  • Responsible for learning and increasing product knowledge thru study and job site visits

Fabrication Specialist

Reports To: Service Manager

Requirements:

  • Required 3-5 years minimum experience
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to weld heavy plate (commonly ½” to 1”)
  • Machine skills on manual lathe & manual mill (willing to train)
  • 1” Unlimited Certification (we will pay for Certification if you do not have)
  • Able to understand simple drawing dimension instructions
  • Accurate in building/designing/assembling
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Process orders from start to finish
  • Detail orientated
  • Able to multi-task
  • Clear and precise, verbal and written communication
  • Must have sense of urgency
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Parts Specialist

Reports To: Parts Manager

Requirements:

  • Required 3-5 years minimum experience in industrial parts
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • SAP knowledge preferred but not required (will train)
  • Understand parts manuals and schematics
  • Create Purchase Orders to vender to obtain parts/materials
  • Place necessary orders for stock and customer needs.
  • Able to outsource and obtain parts from different avenues.
  • Assist service department in looking up and obtaining parts needed
  • Process orders from start to finish
  • Detail orientated
  • Able to multi-task
  • Clear and precise, verbal and written communication
  • Must have sense of urgency
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Accounts Payable Specialist

Reports To: CFO

Subordinates: None

Requirements:

  • Compiles & maintains accounts payable records
  • Codes and posts all vendor invoices to operating system
  • Prepares records for payment runs for managerial review
  • Prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary
  • Tracks receipts for all company credit cards
  • Reconciles credit card receipts to monthly billings and posts expenses to operating system
  • Responds to vendor inquiries
  • Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors
  • Prepares accounts payable checks
  • Compiles accounts payable reports
  • Maintains all accounts payable files
  • Prepares analysis of accounts
  • Assists in monthly closings
  • Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting
  • OR – Associate Degree with equivalent experience
  • 2 years’ experience with accounts payables

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Reports To: CFO

Subordinates: None

Requirements:

  • Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to receivables
  • Creates invoices according to company practices
  • Submits invoices to customers
  • Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
  • Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections
  • Identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment
  • Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested
  • Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the other staff
  • Maintains and files liens on job sites
  • Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger
  • Assists Accounting Manager in reconciling revenue accounts each month
  • Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed
  • Relays changes of information to appropriate employees

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting
  • OR – Associate Degree with equivalent experience
  • 2 years’ experience with receivables

Required Skills:
